Now if you put him up against some scrub you can just save the spot because you have to assume one of the six fighters in the two weight classes Pettis fights in are going to get injured and pull out.
Forgot about Melendez vs Sanchez due to no fixed date,

Mendes/Guida will stay on the PPV regardless because of the need to hype Mendes as a potential PPV main event with Aldo, Koch and Poirer or the Vera fight could headline FX, clearing the way for Pettis vs Thomson, although I now recall Cerrone asking for Thomson
