Think diet first then supplements second. Try and get everything u can from your normal diet and if u cant then use supplements.
I started taking glutamine and a basic whey protein shake about 2 months ago and its helped alot. I recover alot quicker and ive seen great strength gains.
Start off with a basic protein shake and see how that works and then stack or buy a more complex (and expensive) shake later.
