Lake Earl has been flooded all year, but I was determined today to fish out of that damn lake. So, I drove to the lake and parked (there's a giant field of grass separating the parking spot and the lake that's flooded), put on my rubber boots that go knee high, grabbed my pole and spent a good 15-20 minutes navigating my way through flooded grass/mud and finally found a path that could get me right on the edge of the water without going passed my boots.
Fished for about an hour, caught two nice big cutthroat trout and went home. Overall, had a good time but wished it was easier to get to the lake.
