Round 1 - Quick start in the center, and Menjivar kicks the chest. Reis pushes forward with power shots that miss. He slips but gets back to the feet. Reis the aggressor to open, but Menjivar very comfortable in his counters. Menjivar kicks the legs. Reis looking to attack, but he's struggling to find his range. Menjivar moves inside and eats a few uppercuts before they break away. Reis holds the center of the cage, but he's still searching. Menjivar kicks the body again. Reis thumps the leg. Menjivar kicks again. Strong weapon to start. He avoids a Reis rush. Menjivar kicks the body again. Reis absolutely struggling to get inside. He finally pushes in and scores a takedown. Menjivar ties up well underneath, and the round ends. gives it to Menjivar, 10-9.

Round 2 - Reis winging power shots to open, but he's still short on the range. Menjivar scores with a big right hand, but Reis just stands there. Reis drives in on a takedown and gets it, pulling his head free from the choke attempt. He stands and tries to pass, but Menjivar scrambles up to his feet. Trading in the pocket before Reis slips under and scores with another takedown. Menjivar takes full guard underneath. Reis looks to posture, but Menjivar doing a good job underneath in defense. Reis pushes up and does work in a few punches. Crowd wants more action, but it's Menjivar keeping things tight. He opens up and turns for a leg. Doesn't get it, but it creates a scramble back to the feet. Round ends there, and gives the round to Reis, 10-9.

Round 3 - Menjivar takes the center. He scores with an early low kick. Reis looking to strike. He's short on a few early punches. Reis pushes in for a takedown, but Menjivar defends against the cage. Menjivar tries to wrap the neck, but Reis ducks under and locks the body. He works desperately for a trip and finally gets it. Menjivar wraps things up underneath, and the crowd boos. He breaks the lock, and Reis continues to smother from the top. Not a ton of action, but Reis settles into full mount and is in complete control. Reis not even bothering to strike, but he's firm on top. He does posture for a few strikes. One minute left. Crowd continues to boo, hoping for some action. Menjivar scrambles to recover guard, but he has no offense at all. Reis content to ride things out on top, even as the crowd continues to jeer. Fight ends there, and gives the round to Reis, 10-9, awarding him the fight 29-28.

Result: Wilson Reis def. Ivan Menjivar via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
