Working a lot on speed and free flowing combos. I don't like the robot fighters that go into a fight with their coach yelling out what to throw, I like the fighters that think for themselves and just naturally adapt to the fight as it takes place. That's how I fight so working on making the most of my opportunities to counter, instead of throwing one hard right cross I might throw my shoulder (transferring my weight) as if I was going to throw the cross then immediately come under with the lead uppercut and follow through with a really hard cross just as the uppercut lands. It's a beautiful inside combination... Nice to exit with either kick. faint right, left, right, right. Works nicely
Thinking about doing some boxing, i've never really done much but I don't want to compromise my stance because my Muay Thai stance works for MMA aswell.
When I took boxing I always found a lead uppercut a very hard punch to throw while remaining fluid and not giving my intentions away, I liked to shadow box in the mirror so I could see it but it just wasn't clean enough for my liking
