R1: Graham unhinges a low kick that Kongo almost catches. Graham shuffling forward as Kongo backpedals and looks to counter. Kongo nearly catches Graham's next low kick as well. Kongo paws with a few jabs and then snaps a double jab. He clinches on Graham's next low kick attempt but can't get head control as Graham ducks under and slips out.
Graham is still walking Kongo down. Kongo flicks a jab, doubles it up and follows with a planted right hand. Kongo counters Graham's entry with the double collar tie and a knee to the body. Graham cracks a kick to the inside thigh but Kongo motions that it's low and we pause briefly. More incoming jabs from Kongo precede a hard three-punch combo and a stiff right hand that signify his growing confidence. Kongo plants two stiff knees to the midsection with his back on the fence. Graham whiffs on a spinning back fist. 10-9 Kongo.
R2: They dig in and trade leather with Kongo getting the better of it via two right hands. Graham's left eye is cut and oozing a little blood. Kongo's height is a noticeable advantage in the clinch as they exchange knees. Kongo throws a jab, a front kick and a one-two that back Graham up. Kongo starts to move forward aggressively and Graham heaves him off and into the cage.
Graham streaks a step-in right, then another that Kongo definitely notices. Kongo initiates a clinch and Graham nearly hits a whizzer counter-throw. Kongo clinching now with a steady humdrum of tall knees and amplified offense as Graham looks to be slowing down. Kongo pulls Graham's feet out from underneath him and postures up with a big elbow. 10-9 Kongo.
R3: Kongo stumbles a bit on his outside low kick and might be losing some steam as well. Kongo goes downstairs with a lead right hand and lands a long push kick. Graham chambers off a one-two as Kongo telegraphs and hesitates on his next front kick. They trade inside low kicks and right hands. Graham just misses with a big overhand and a few more punches on the way before he's taken down and insta-mounted.
Kongo postures up and cleaves downward with a nasty elbow that connects with the cut over Graham's eye, inflicting major damage and causing the blood to gush. Graham bucks Kongo off and shows gameness by pouncing on him with a series of rights and lefts. Kongo wards it off with another clinch and subsequent takedown, showering down more elbows to Graham's gaping wound. Kongo hammers down right punches and elbows while locked down in half guard. Graham's face is a bright red mask. 10-8 Kongo. I have it 30-26 his way.
