well you posted this on the 6th and its the 8th now but...
High Carbs, like posta. My parents do alot of marathon training and i do MMA training. Before (the night before) a marathon or a fight you should eat some pasta I highly recommend power gels, some friends of mine use them for long distance training, and i find them to be very effective in giving energy.
