Wrestling is great for straight entry takedowns and really help with jumping straight in at the legs, but it's really easy to defend against.
I suggest Judo, because the takedowns are much harder to avoid. I would learn basic wrestling takedowns, at least double leg and single leg takedowns if not some basic suplex skills.
