How about the test was innaccurate or misinterpreted? Who conducted the test? What's thier background? Did they have any vested interest? Were they bribed to interpret the data in a favourable manner? The problem with a polygraph test is that you have no baseline comparison. They are useful, but hardly conclusive. Cmon guys, how about a little critical thinking on your part rather than just swallowing whatever you're fed.

"[Polygraph screening] is completely without any theoretical foundation and has absolutely no validity...the diagnostic value of this type of testing is no more than that of astrology or tea-leaf reading."

- Former Supervisory Special Agent Dr. Drew C. Richardson, FBI Laboratory Division
He's wrong, they are only in rare cases fooled, I have a friend that gives them for a living and you just cant beat them if your not psychotic. I noticed he's a former agent what, he fail a polygraph and got fired lol? There is a baseline, they gain it by asking you questions that they know are true and others thay know are false.
