New to Forum, and MMA need some advice
Hey whats up guys, i just joined the forum and i got a question. Im 21, 5"9 and stocky, im just finishin up my college and im plannin on joining a MMA gym in Calgary or Airdrie, AB. I'm trying to decide which gym i should be joining and which style of fighting would suit me best. I've been training cardio and weight training since high school, and with my college finally finishing up i'll have time to get into MMA.
If anyone could give me a bit of advice on gyms in the area and maybe some tips on what i should be doing to get into the MMA world I'd really appreciate it.
Also, is it common for a gym to help with every aspect of MMA Training? Diet, flexibility, conditioning etc? Or do they usually just teach technique? Anyways i guess thats why i would like to find a good gym. I've been to Cannuckles and met Max Marin and he seems to have quite a bit of experience.
