You should really consider doing some kind of martial art....the cardio is different, take for example, BJJ works out your whole body cardio-wise while running only works your legs and BJJ is more fun because you get to learn techniques. Invest in buying a jumping rope. Thats a good way to lose fat and it can be done almost anywhere and it would suck to run outside in the rain. hope that helped
