I know he's entertaining to watch because he delivers a knock out quite a lot, but does anyone else think the same things about him as me? I just see a lot of people on here who are die hard fans and think he can take almost anyone but I just don't see why. I'm not trying to troll or offend anyone, it's an honest question.
Liddell began studying Koei-Kan karate at the age of 12; the tattoo seen on his scalp reads "Koei-Kan". He was a four year starter on the football team at San Marcos High School, and became a Division I wrestler at California Polytechnic State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business/Accounting in 1995. When Liddell started his MMA career, he began to train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under John Lewis in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He also has a purple belt in bjj...just because he didn't use it doesn't mean he doesn't have it. Its also worth pointing out as others have his TDD comes from his wrestling background and his bjj likely helps in his submission defense. Its funny to me if he was so one dimensional then how is he able to eat grapplers for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Furthermore, I would say watch his upcoming bout with Rashad Evans and you will see just how good a wrestler he really is.

As for Ramp being #1 LHW he has loses to Wandi-twice and was destoryed by Shogun so he isn't a front runner for best eva. Liddell has skills and just plays to his strengths.
