Feds making an arrest vs local cops is a bit different, if the Feds dont think they have enough they will usually hand it off to the locals. I have family and alot of friends in the Chicago PD, and while yes they still might hand it off to the locals... its not looking good. Im still holding out hope though. And if the Feds do hand it to the locals thas very good, that means the Feds arent sure if they can get a conviction. So lets all hope that they hand it off.
