I'd also like to point out that there have been several arrests in this case. All, some, or none may end up indicted- the fact that Garcia was arrested doesn't mean he will be charged. In a "ring" bust like this it's not uncommon for many to be arrested and questioned but only a few to be indicted- that's just part of the legal process. He has stated that he was arrested just because his name was mentioned, which isn't really surprising since he is probably one of the more well-known people in his immediate community.

He might very well end up being indicted and even convicted. But to say at this point that "its not looking good"- well, it's never good to be arrested, but I don't see how you can accurately characterize the situation (unless you are part of the investigation), since they've released few facts and none of the evidence to the public.
To jump back into this... sorry been working late..

Based on what ive been told by people and seen from a few of my friends, even if your "only" arrested it can still be bad. Case in point: friend of mine's house gets raided after an annonymous tip, no history of drug arrests or use, and sever grams of Meth suddenly appears. no other evidence was found so charges lowered and ofered a plea deal that basically amounted to 2 yrs probation.

another case, friend is arrested for stealing credit card #'s from a store he works at. not much evidence, offered a plea of basically parole for 1 year, and record expunged after 2.

one more, Policeman friend of the family, practically my uncle, gets arrested for "shaking down" immigrants. Feds handed the case off to Chicago PD as only possible evidence was his voice on a recording saying "Put your #$%^ing money back in your pocket and lets go!". Many other cops were arrested and took plea's so he did too, no jail, no parole, but got fired and lost his pension.

So yes I am just speculating... as you said all the facts arent out there, all any of us are doing is speculating! Im just a lil more jaded on my outlook i guess .

anyways good reads on both of ya, +rep to ya both.
