If I were you I would try to run a little less distance and run more quality distance (imo run faster). I have taken a break from running and replaced it with some other cardio (like bike, swimming etc) but when I ran on a regimen I ran just over 2 miles on campus. I would start my stop watch and leave it just in my door, if I did not make it back to turn it off before it hit 16:30 the run didnt count :P
