obsolete :(
sadly, your p3 is obsolete...
... as Squeetard said, it will be hard to find compatible RAM...
...the cost for RAM for that mobo (motherboard) is probably *more* expensive
than the equivalent amount in a newer mobo...
If you can get some RAM for free from a buddy machine, it wont hurt...
Another thing about having a p3 means your mobo probably doesnt have USB on board, if it does... its probably just USB 1.0... which is really slow...
You will need at least USB 2.0 to make it practical to use externally.
Squeetard's dead on with the AGP port ... but Im gonna have to ask if you even have one?
Some mobo's dont have an AGP port, its all "on board".
P3's began the Accelerated Graphics Port phenom... so chances are you should have one... unless of course it was 1st generation p3 mobo... or a combo mobo...
Do you happen to know your mobo make and model? Should be written down on the board somewheres....
Get that, then we might be able to give you some better suggestions for this semi-upgrade
cheers
