DO NOT commit to anything unless you've had a long time to think about it. My friend got a tattoo 5 years ago which got me thinking about it, but I didn't do it till 3 years after that. It took me awhile to design something I liked, it had to be unique to me and my husband said it couldn't be anywhere readily visible. I was particularly concerned with originality b/c every 3rd soccer mom like myself has one lately.
