Brown, while he didn't do much in the early minutes, did the smart thing by biding his time. He wanted to make sure that May wasn't sneaking in good strikes with his sloppy ones. Once it was obvious that he wasn't, Brown started taking it to him.

May just didn't look impressive, even beyond his conditioning.
