Speaking of Anderson and Machida something I have noticed about how they are fought.
Machida is a good striker in the cage and Silva is a good striker in a cage and ring but this is against mma strikers. Since they are both southpaws any boxer or kickboxer will tell you that you want to stay outside their lead leg in order to stay away from their power hand and to avoid their jab easier. No fighter that I have seen fight these two guys has done this, they have all just stood in front and allowed Silva and Machida's left hand to have all the power it can. I would like to see how either guy adapts his striking to someone who does stay outside their lead leg. Just something I've noticed and has always made me question why fighters wouldn't do this.
