Guys, Hughes is a MULTIPLE TIME UFC Welterweight Champion. He's been at the top of the mountain MANY TIMES before, Alves on the other hand, is not even close yet. He's not ready for this main event spot, and it SHOWS by him missing weight. WTF? Rookie mistake. There goes his potential title shot **IF** he happened to come out victorious.

Anyway, look for Hughes to go back to his old ways, and this fight will be eerily reminiscent to his fight with Lytle. Hughes handles the striking, gets in on the shot, gets the takedowns and controls from top position most of the fight. Remember, Hughes is a grunt on top, and the only guy to ever control him was GSP. I laugh at the fact that ATT is comparing Thiago Alves to St-Pierre. Give me a f'n break.
