When was the last time UFC had no ref stoppages ?. I think it was UFC 2. Searching the wikipedia...

UFC 3 - The referee was officially given the authority to stop a fight in case of a fighter being unable to defend himself.

So I was right, only in the original UFC and UFC 2 was the ref unable to stop the fight.
