So he obviously did it for a reason, so idk how it would help in mma but if it helped Pete idk why it wouldnt help a fighter
Even in if Pete was on speed, playing baseball in the 70's is a lot more slack than MMA. I mean he was an outfielder, chase a couple of balls run the bases and you are done. Playing 2 back to back games as an outfielder would not be as strenious as 1 round of MMA.
