Ishida would beat Josh Thomson, since Ishida would just take him down and outwork him for a decision, which is what Guida did against Thomson.
Thomson would beat Caol Uno, though. Better striker and just as good on the ground.

In a fight with Ishida i think Thomsons wrestling is good enough to stop takedowns for the most part and his hands are easily better than ishidas even if ishida gets the takedown hes just gonna lay on top and do nothing anyway and in the US they tend to stand you up sooner than over in Japan.

When Ishida gets the takedown(s), he works. One of the best top games in the LW division.
