I didn't see him having skills when he was back mounted. I saw a guy who didn't know how to hide his head and got too distracted by the punches to focus on the submission.
edit: oh yeah and I never doubted his standup it's solid. Nothing that's spectacular but he can hold his own.
You have to remember that these guys are only going to improve from fight to fight, that's something a lot of people forget because we see so little of the actual training. Coming onto the show and watching his first fight, he's definitely one of the top prospects to win at 155.
