Hi, I'm also new to this forum, but already training Muay thai for a week now. The difference between football and Muay Thai is that, football has a lot of running, and thus making a good way of creating a better stamina, but in Muay Thai, it needs endurance and power, as well as stamina.
For a bigenner (so do I
), you will concentrating more on the Muay Thai stances, and how to move with that stance. In my own opinion, better to master the basic stance first, becuase that serve as the main root of Muay Thai.
Remember Muay Thai focuses more on power.
