^The kid's in high school. This isn't a kidnapping, brought out to the middle of nowhere deal. He also seems to know the other guy to some extent. A school fight is a school fight. Even if none of this materializes, which I too hope for, wouldn't it be nice that he at least has the peace of mind to know how to defend himself in the future?
I'm not glorifying the situation but sometimes you don'thave control of when sh*t is about to go down. You know what I mean?
