I'd be lying if i said the thougth hadn't crossed my mind, although for different reasons than you guys. I'd want it for recovery purposes, so i could do more hard sessions (like 2x 16+ mile runs a week, 2x hard bricks a week) etc.
Ofcourse i haven't, and won't....the payoff isn't worth the risk, especially since I'm just an amature with zero chance of ever going pro....but it would be nice to be able to back up really hard the next day after getting utterly shelled the day before. Or be able to jump right back into training hard immediately following a race.
