Check your form. Make sure you are going from having your arms totally extended to having your elbows as low down your rib cage/forearms as close to your biceps as possible. It's easy to pump out pullups and chinups if you don't get the full range of motion. If you do the full range of motion you can do one half or one third of what you can do when you are cheating.
Of course you could be doing it right already... if so, carry on the good work.
