Agreed! Cops and anyone else in the street are susceptable to multiple attackers. Takedown defense, escapes and striking are best, but if you are one on one and a BJJ submision is needed for control it's good to know them. Not all submissions require the fighters to be on the ground. Training for self defense and training to compete are soooo different.
