All I can say to help you is mash the buttons as fast as you can. Try to execute the submissions from mount, side mount or sprawl position because the more dominant your position is the better are your chances of pulling off the sub.
what do you mean mash the buttons?(rotating the stick?)
i do that just fine stopping takedowns and what not. what buttons aside from the original submission trigger and joy stick are you supposed ti be mashing?
