Yeah DW it's a little cheesy- William Hurt plays Duke Leto and sucks awfully for some reason- but since it runs 6-8 hours they put pretty much all of the plot into and the weirding way is not changed to some wacked out voice box make big explosions thingy.
Rob- yeah if you read Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein and then see the movie it's absolutely comical how butchered and warped it became.
I saw a new series called the Swans' War by Sean Russell, the first book is called "The One Kingdom"- anyone, by chance, read any of them?
