It's not a big deal if you ask me. I remember UFC fixing MMA record of Vernon White on UFC 49 in order to make him look as a better fighter than he really was. It was a co-main event and he was facing Chuck Liddell, so his real MMA record would've looked pathetic (especially if Buffer had announced it), because the guys who have more losses than victories aren't to headline PPV.
