AfflictionWorld renowned MMA clothing company, Affliction, reached into their pockets and pulled together an organization of top fighters, marketed & publicized by Affliction Entertainment VP, Tom Atencio. This organization, unlike their competition, is open to cross-promotion.
Affliction just announced today that Andre Arlovski and Ben Rothwell will fight each other at Affliction: Banned on July 19.
The “Banned” fight card will be the first show promoted by Affliction and has one of the best fight cards of the year. Both Rothwell and Arlovski are under contract with Adrenaline MMA but are fighting with permission on the Affliction card. Since the inaugural Adrenaline event is just a month earlier, both fighters will not be available for the Adrenaline show. The Adrenaline website does say both fighters are still scheduled to compete on the second Adrenaline fight card on September 6.

This should be a fun fun card. Arlovski vs Rothwell should be great, Buentello vs Aleks should be great, I was originally against it but I've come around to loving the Rizzo vs Barnett match up and Sylvia vs Fedor is a very interesting main event.
What a card of HW's.
and it's official the UFC HW divison is bad. When compared not only to this card with Fedor, Aleks E., Sylvia, Arlovski, Rothwell, Barnett, Buentello and Rizzo.
But I think it's fair to say that Adrenline with Arlovski, Rothwell and Sylvia has a better top three than the UFC does with Nog, Werdum and ??? (Vera I guess or maybe Mir?)

This is great, not only this card, but the fact that we could see in the future matches such as Barnett-Fedor or Arlovski-Fedor, if they copromote with Dream and Elitexc add Antonio Silva and Cro Cop to the mix .

What a card, i hope this is all confirmed because this has to be the best card in MMA history.
I just hope they can keep it up for there next events, because i dont see them making much money on this, with the amount they must be paying them all.
I bet Fedor and tim must be getting close to a million each. Even Matt and Aleks i would think would be getting close to 200 grand.
