AfflictionWorld renowned MMA clothing company, Affliction, reached into their pockets and pulled together an organization of top fighters, marketed & publicized by Affliction Entertainment VP, Tom Atencio. This organization, unlike their competition, is open to cross-promotion.
Have you guys seen the affliction banned trailer?, its looking pretty good , its actually gonna be a hell of a card , i see some real competition for the ufc here
their HW division is already way better then the UFC's. Barnett, Rothwell, Fedor, Sylvia, and Arlovski. Wow.
I know, that's funny as hell. So many ppl say Affliction is going to fail and how it's a bad move for AA to have left the UFC and I disagree. I think Affliction will have some good shows and will force the UFC to make changes if they want to remain competitive in this market. Nice to see this coming together because it's great for MMA as a whole.
IM starting to think that Affliction will be the company to give the UFC a run for its money. Affliction seems to realize that the fighters make the company and not the other way around. I will definently be catching their first show while bodog and elitexc i wasent even thinking bout buying it.
Good Job affliction, i feel this company is treating their fighters correctly. This is only my believe though i have no proof to support that statement.
Holy crap i am SOOOO buying this card!!! It is true, their HW division is already better than the UFC...
They are going about this in all the right ways. As a previous poster had mentioned I have not considered speanding my limited cash on any org other than the UFC....until now...
affliction is puttin together a great show, but the question is do they have the buisness smarts to turn a profit ? a saw an interview where they talked about how they expect to do 3 shows this year and they know they will be losing millions of dollars...so if they cant start to turn a profit they wont last longer than that

It's risky but atleast they have a good start so far with the fighters they're picking up. That's a solid list of veteran pioneers. Keep getting the right fighters like this and mmafans will definitely help support the org.
I wonder if they are referring to losing money as a company or losing money on these shows only? It could be their decision to lose money on the show only to benefit in other areas. Just a thought as I don't know what all of Afflictions interests are yet.
