Ring? Weird, really thought Affliction would go with a cage. It's basically the choice for mma here in North America.

I'm really glad to see ring MMA in the US. My dream is that eventually more orgs will be cross promoted and we can see some rematches in the ring and really see how much difference there is.

Mmmm, IFL is in a ring too, it isn't so trange. I really don't care, I just want to see great fights, and this card is stacked.

Since it is going to be in the ring, I think Fedor has a pretty great advantage. So I'll be putting money on him.
I heard on inside MMA that HDnet will be picking this up? Is this true?

I was going to put some money on Fedor too, but the odds are -450, I thought they were going to be like -200 or -250, so I'm not going to bet on that fight.

I don't know about HDnet, as far as I know the main card is on PPV and the prelims will be aired on Fox sports.

Has Tim Silvia mellowed out? I used to get wound up how arrogant he was in interviews and the trash talk leading up to fights. As a result it didn't make him a popular fighter which I know got to him after a while. But watching the Silvia/Fedor appearance on Inside MMA I'm wondering if he's been humbled by his recent losses and exit from the UFC. Either that or he was terrified being sat next to Fedor, who wouldn't be? He came accross as a much more reasonable and level headed athlete. Considering the fight is in the states it's strange that Fedor will probably be the more popular fighter.

After watching Silvia's defeat to Couture I'm thinking Fedor will walk this one. Silvia will catch him early on with some heavy shots but fedor will inevitably get him to the ground and get him with an armbar or kimura. Silvia has good takedown defence and submission defence but will buckle under the continued pressure Fedor will press on him through the fight.
