Affliction also announced the signing of Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (Pictures). The brother of UFC interim heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (Pictures), Rogerio is 13-3 in MMA. He fought most recently in February, stopping Todd Gouwenberg (Pictures) in the second round of a Hardcore Championship Fighting bout in Canada.

I was hoping he would be in the ufc but this seems like a promising org. We'll see how the first event goes.

Might aswell use this thread then, but yeah real happy to see Rog Nog in a decent promotion with great fighters. I wonder if he'll be fighting on the July 19th card.

I wish he was, but if everyone fights then, who is going to fight on the next card they have?

The same guys with a few different ones, it's not as if they are going to have events every month like the UFC. Most people will be fine to fight by Afflictions next show I presume.

I think the layoff for getting ko'd is 6 months right?
