View Poll Results: Will you give Tim Sylvia credit if he wins by cut?
I was wondering if fans will give Big Tim credit if he were to win by cut? The reason why I am asking is because I've read on a couple different places that a lot of people think that is his only chance of winning(which I disagree with) so I wanted to get your guy's thoughts.
Well obviously not. If it's a rather even fight and Tim wins by cut, then no. If Fedor's winning the fight then obviously no as well.
But if Tim is clearly winning, and just happens to get the doctor's stoppage, then yes. It won't be convincing because well, he didn't clearly put him away, but still, he won.
Although, it IS Fedor, and there could always be a chance for a comeback, so don't rule that out.
I think it will be more dependent, in my mind anyway, on the manner in which he wins. If he comes out and beats on Fedor for a round or two and a cut opens which stops the fight then yeah but if it either happens a minute into the fight or from something like a glancing elbow from the bottom then I can't see Big Tim getting much credit.
I can't believe how many people are counting Sylvia out in this fight.
Even though I bet on Tim for the odds I think Fedor's the better fighter but it's a very close call IMO.

Would of Big Tim is winning the fight and Fedor cuts Big Tim, everybody will give him credit I bet
I really don't like when people win by cuts. That seems to me like the easy way out of a fight i mean you headbutt them by accident and you win. That doesn't prove who the real winner could have been.
Look at a fights like Koscheck vs. Lytle, or Sobral vs. Heath. Those were big freakin cuts and A LOT of blood, BUT, there was always one clear winner in that fight. If those fights were stopped due to cuts, that would have been fine.
However, if a fight like Neer vs. Guillard, or (shit I can't think of another good one right now, mental block, but you get the picture) was stopped due to cuts, then yes, there'd be controversy.
