Well, to be fair, Arlovski threw a lot more punches than are shown here, and it's possible that they all landed except for these. He was certainly doing damage.
I don't see how anyone can be outclassed standing up by someone who is laying on their face.

I'm aware that he threw more punches but the significant punches that some of us(including me), thought hit fedor solidly and made him dazed, didn't really hit fedor at all.

Nice gif's dude - mucho thanks. Just went to prove what I'd been harping on about all along. Arlovski got whooped in stand-up... and then got his spark extinguished. What more can you ask for...?
Sure would've been a bitch to score, but even if the round had finished with both guys standing, Fedor would've taken it. Just because he doesn't look like a text-book beefcake doen't mean he doesn't hit like a mule. The guy's stupid-stong.
I pity the man who lines up next... ;-)

Well, i'll be the first to admit it and eat my words.
I had said fedor was being out striked (though i did say his overall stand up was even up until the knockout).
But i'll admit it, the exchanges where i though AA had landed a punch were shown here to be glancing. Amazing by Fedor. Just amazing. Fedor was not being out striked. Just wow.

Didn't AA land some realy good kicks, though? In another thread, someone said Fedor "lured" AA to the corner. Do you guys believe that? My opinion is that AA backed Fedor into the corner.

AA landed threw 3 kicks to Fedors legs... where he didnt check one...
On the other hand Fedor threw 3 strong knees, where AA only threw one weak one.
Fedor totally pulled a classic rope-a-dope... you could tell by his demeanor... Fedor 'appeared' hurt... and was taking steps backwards... then the whole 'that front kick really hurt' acting job... ONLY to explode with an overhand right.

Thank you for posting, here is a post earlier from me.
Too many people were saying Arlovski was pwning.

He landed a few kicks, that was it, watch again (maybe in slow motion) how many of his punches actually land. Then after that push kick, Fedor shook his head and was like, "that's it, time to end proceedings"
Check out Fedor's head movement at the start, it looks like Arlovski lands a nice punch and kinda rocks Fedor, but not at all. Fedor moved weirdly away from it.
He wasn't in any danger at anytime.

Thanks for the gifs to prove my point.

Great post, thanks.
There was no doubt in my mind that Fedor was playing.
We already saw great boxing of Arlovski's in previous fight, why would anything change this time?
To tell the truth since his last rematch with Tim, it looked like Arlovki's boxing improved, not MMA-wise but boxing wise though. It looked like he's just trying to score on points, pacing like they do in Boxing.,
