View Poll Results: Was it a wise move by Lashley not to accept the fight with Fedor?

Do you think that Lashley's decision not to replace Josh Barnett for $500,000 was a wise move or a foolish one? The show wouldn't have been canceled at least. Of course, he would lose, but he would get a lot of money and we would see Fedor and Sobral vs Mousasi. Some WWE fans would be interested to see former ECW champion fighting the MMA legend and bought PPV.

This move shows him he has some integrity to him and wants to work up the ranks before facing the best fighter in the world!

It was a wise move, he doesn't have enough experience under his belt to challenge fedor, and plus it was only 1 week of training to get.

And that was probably another reason but if Lashley was a good fighter he would be training regardless of whether he is scheduled for a fight or not!

Not sure I agree that the show wouldn't have been cancelled. Yeah Lashley is a pro wrestler, but Vitor is a pretty big name in MMA, he's fought a lot of the best. IF Vitor couldn't carry the show against Fedor I'm not sure Lashley could.

And, I think Lashley made a good choice because Fedor would have beat the hell out of him. Lashley is still very green, never fought a good fighter yet. Losing to Fedor would not have helped him. Why would Fedor want to fight Lashley anyway? At this point in his career, what would he gain by beating a pro wrestler who's never even faced a top 10 opponent?

The japanese love freakshows like those matches. Also, each of those opponents had accomplished quite a bit more in combat than Lashley has by the time they fought Fedor. And those fights are still part of the reason people doubt Fedor's #1 status.
