Silva's streak will run and run

The Spider is often described as the best pound for pound fighter in the world.

He hasn’t just beaten challengers since claiming the UFC middleweight crown in 2006 – he has annihilated them.

The only fighter to make it out of the second round with him in that time is Patrick Cote and many got the feeling that this was down to Silva allowing him to rather than the Canadian battling that far.

A Muay Thai virtuoso, it seems that wherever Silva is he is capable of throwing, and landing, a power shot whether it be a kick, knee, elbow or punch and he has scored knock out’s with all but his kicks.

As if that isn’t enough he holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and is more than capable of submitting opponents as Travis Lutter and Dan Henderson will tell you.
