UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva claims in a recent interview with Gazeta de Povo that he has signed some contracts that will see him take on legendary boxing champion Roy Jones Jr. when his UFC contract is up.
Jones and Silva have stated a sincere desire to face one another for the past two years and it is believed that Silva approached UFC President Dana White about such a matchup. White quickly shot down the request as he does not want to see one of his prized fighters get injured or embarrassed by fighting Jones under boxing rules.
