He's an excellent fighter, considering basically his only three losses have come to the best of the business Fedor Emelianenko. But besides that he's beaten every heavyweight there is out there, Crocop, Rodriguez, even middleweight Dan Henderson, Mark Coleman, Jeremy Horn, the list goes on. Also all of his losses have been by decision making him very impressive. I think he and Crocop are the only ones in PRIDE who have a chance of beating Fedor Emelianenko.
Uh, this isn't Crocop's fighter bio this isn't Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, but besides that Crocop Filipovic is my favourite fighter from PRIDE because he just is so good with his kicks, feets, and take downs, and dominates everyone except Rodrigo Nogueira, Fedor Emelianenko, and Hunt. Some of the beatings that he delivered to Aleksander Emelianenko and Heath Herring were not even funny at all what he did to them. He is just intimidating. Best fighter out of Europe in my opinion (Russia doesn't count as Europe lol).
Nogueira is the best of the best, the only man he can't get by is Fedor, 2 losses from Fedor and a no contest. And he lost to Dan but can probably beat him now. He's beaten them all, Crocop, etc. And when his back is on the ground he is dangerous as heck. He can beat basically anyone and win that grand prix, besides Fedor. Best fighter in our world besides Fedor.
Nogueira is the best there is right now besides Fedor. Hes going to win the grand prix. No one can stop him but Fedor. 2 of his 3 losses and his draw to Fedor. He's 27-1 without Fedor. Hes also best at submissions and grappling. Nogueira owns!
Although i respect nogueira very much it should be said that he was dominated by Josh barnett and Barnett was dominated by Cro cop. However Nogueira is probably the most dangerous BJJ user in the world right now and one of it's best grapplers.
Barnett didnt dominate Nogueira, i though it was dead even, it was a close decision, anyways Nog came back and deafeated barnett no close descision this time it was the better fighter of that night.
the first time barnett won was because he was stronger and more aggressive. But im Happy Nogueira showed his ferocity in the second fight. If he worked on his explosive power and striking he could be a serious threat to fedor.
