Nice bet by Stun Gun...

Lloyd Woodard vs. David Rickels - Round 1 - They are locked up pretty quickly and Woodard is trying to take the back standing. Woodard kneeing the back of the legs before getting a takedown. Woodard looked briefly like he wanted to lock in a twister but it wasn't there so he lands a few hammerfists. Rickels looking for a triangle choke, Woodard picks him up and slams him down and then frees himself. Woodard trying to pass but settling for landing more punches. Rickels goes for a leglock, can't get it, so Woodard tries for his own heel hook and can't finish it. Rickels uses the leg lock to get on top but Woodard looks for a leg lock again. Rickels back on top landing a few punches and Woodard's nose has been bloodied. Rickels looks for a giant swing at the end of the round! 10-9 Woodard.

Round 2 - Hard left by Rickels. Woodard looks gassed and like his leg might be hurt. Rickels is in control here but Woodard is still firing shots back. Rickels with a flurry to the body. Rickels gets hit by a punch and slips to the mat so Woodard jumps on top of him. Rickels almost locks up an armbar but Woodard picks him up and gets out. They get to the feet, Rickels lands a knee but Woodard takes him back down. Close round but I imagine Woodard got it on the judge's cards, I'd probably go 10-9 Rickels.

Round 3 - Rickels with a big two punch combo and Woodard is hurt. Rickels isn't really pouncing but he is taking this round clearly and every punch looks like it is affecting Woodard when it lands. Big left hand for Rickels again. Rickels really tagging him again and now Woodard charges in looking for the takedown. Rickels looks for the guillotine but can't finish it as Woodard gets the takedown with 20 seconds left. 10-9 Rickels gives him a 29-28 on my card but I'm expecting Woodard to take two cards for the win.

Official scorecards: 29-28 across the board, David Rickels wins by unanimous decision. Good job by the judges!
