West continues to circle the outside and throw inside and outside leg kicks with speed and accuracy. Two more outside low kicks for West. Snapping front kick up top glances for West who is starting to style on Montoya with kick after kick after kick. Round 2
The second round begins and it is more of the same. West is now coming forward more, but he is actively kicking and backing Montoya up. West touches his foe with a one-two, but it is mostly blocked. More West low kicks land, but the “Wild” one misses a jump knee. Montoya continues to throw punches but can't find his target. West pushes Montoya back to the fence with punches. He throws two low kicks, then unloads a left head kick upstairs that removes Montoya from his consciousness. Montoya is out on his feet and falls backward like a tree falling. The dramatic, beautiful head-kick knockout comes at 2:51 of the second round for Ed West.
