You get some credits here, attention...

Hayes wins by UD

fight play by play:

Round 1 -Hayes trying to circle while the bigger man stalks him. Big leg kick from Banks. Banks with some bully moves to push Hayes around and do a little damage with a right hand. Hayes coming up short with the right hand. More leg kicks from Banks. Hayes is having a lot of trouble with the size here. Banks keeps going back to the leg kicks and now misses with the head kick. Banks just keeps landing the leg kicks and Hayes can't really get the right range to land his hands. Finally a right hand from Hayes as the round ends. 10-9 Banks on my card.

Round 2 - Hayes finally lands a nice left hand early in the second round. Hayes is doing a much nicer job getting inside this round but Banks is doing some work in the clinch. Big leg kick from Banks seemed to bother Hayes. Banks just keeps going back to the leg, it's very good work but he's starting to gas now. Banks went for a takedown but couldn't finish it. Hayes landing a nice flurry here and Banks is too tired to do anything to defend. Hayes drives through a takedown and he's on top now. Banks is avoiding punishment so far. The round ends right as Hayes gets to mount. 10-9 round for Hayes and I've got it even going into the third with Banks badly gassing.

Round 3 - Head kick lands for Banks. Leg kick now. Right hand for Hayes. More work to the legs by Banks but Hayes lands two solid punches. Solid right hand for Hayes and a few body shots to follow. Banks with a nice elbow from the clinch. Hayes is controlling the positioning of the round so far and that's probably got him ahead halfway through the round. Flurry of punches from Hayes now. Right hand by Banks. Hayes with a takedown now with a little over a minute left in the fight. The round ends and it was 10-9 Hayes for a rather disappointing 29-28 win on my scorecard. Official Scorecards: 29-28 across the board for Mike Hayes. Mike Hayes wins by unanimous decision.
