The Journey Begins

OK so it is monday morning May 12th and the offical start of the whole plan to go from a fatman to a fighter. I am blogging this morning because I want to get in the habit of blogging every morning I am home. I have only had breakfast and taken my mountain of supps ie/Fish oil,Multi Vitamin and mineral, Joint Formula, CEE and daily dose of asprin.

I take most of those 3 times a day with creatine and protein shake after my lifting or striking workout.

I feel really good about starting today I am about to stretch and then walk a mile. I am not sure how many times I will have to rest during this mile walk but I will get on here and edit at the end of the day and let you guys know how everything went workout wise.

The plan is to walk 1 mile this morning after doing some flexability work, Then Lift while at work full body circuit workout no resting, walk another mile at work and spend some time on the heavy bag working strikes.

I will also weigh in I am expecting to be in the neighbourhood of 470lbs but will give exact numbers tonight.

    Alright I don't see an edit button so I am just going to add comments through the day. I started this morning with some walking and was very depressed to realize I am even worse off then I thought. I can only walk about 1/4 mile without taking a rest. So I walked 1 mile but rested 5 times today. My goal is to add 1/4 mile of walking everyday till I get to 5 miles a day then I will start stretching it out with less rest.

    Where my desk is the area around it is exactly 1/8th of a mile so I do 2 laps around it. I however am moving to a new job so it will be interesting to find new ways to fit my workouts in.

    Today the eating has been spot on and really easy to stick too but the first day always is.

    I will update later with lifting numbers and such.

    oh yeah I weighed in today at 476lbs

    dont worry the scale gives us all wtf moments. keep doing what yr. doing and don't forget to stretch

    thanks I stretch first thing in the morning before walking and then after lifting and before bed. I have really noticed a big difference in my knees and back feeling a lot better the more I stretch.

    All right walked 1 mile in total today did it in 1/4 mile stretches. Here is what I ate today.

    I also lifted

    (Smith Machine)

    Bench Press 40lbs/10, 50/10, 70/10x3
    Incline Press 30/10,40/10,50/10x3
    Shoulder Press Mach 40/10, 50/10, 60/10x3
    D.B. Curls 15/10, 20/10 x3
    Seated Row Mach 20kg/10, 30kg/10, 40kg/10x3
    Tricep Pushdowns 60lbs/10, 70lbs/10, 80/10 x3

    Not bad for day one will lift this same program on wed and fri and do some bag work on tue thur and fri

    thats it till tommorow
