I'm going to start putting my thoughts on how main cards will go in my blog.

Now with this Silva/Henderson fight I see Anderson using the same tactis as he did in his fight with Lee Murray. Now Lee Murray is no where near the wrestler that Dan is, but he has got some heavy hands and Anderson knew that. So he used his reach and kicks to keep Murray at bay for a lot of that fight. They did clinch and go to the ground, but it wasn't a big deal. I think Silva should use the same approach against Dan, especially the low kicks to take his legs away and limit Dan's abiltity to shoot/take Anderson down from the clinch.

Now for Dan, I don't think he really want to trade with Silva because of how accurate Silva is with his striking and also the reach advantage that Silva has. Dan is going to have to close the distance and clinch with Anderson and quickly take him down that way Anderson doesn't have time to get the muay thai plum. Once it hits the ground Dan is going to have to be careful in how he attacks. Silva has an underated ground game. So Dan is going to have to take his time and be smart about his ground and pound. Dan is also going to make sure his conditioning is on point because if he gets tired and sloppy, Silva will pick him apart. And if Dan does shoot in for a takedown, he is going to have to watch out for the knee's.

So all in all I think that Silva will take this one with a 4th round TKO. I just see Henderson getting tired and Silva just picking him apart. Dan has an iron jaw, but I think Silva's knee's will test it.
