This was originally posted on 11-04-2007, 09:59 PM by me. BY the way look at the Alexander comment im posting this for me and friends to reffer to, and for you if you want to check it out

As it has already been posted, Arona stated the UFC was tailor made for him and I completely aggree. I feel if he was given the chance to enter the LHW division he could make it more exciting then it already is (if that is even possible) I don't see him dropping to MW due to his build but hey you never know. Also remember this man survived against Fedor, that's good enough for me...yes he is passive at times but with the right training and work ethich, he could show some of that beast I know is in him...

I honestly think if he gets into the LHW division he could be the wildcard.

here are just a few thoughts on possible match ups!

also sorry this was the only way I could post it...

    From what you posted, Arona would get owned standing. By looking at the 'verdicts by loss', the majority are standing KO/TKO. I don't think the octagon is tailor made for Arona but I would be interested in some of these match-ups. All Arona is really good at is laying and praying. Which is a sound strategy that will result in wins. Really good match-ups and analyst.

    I said this the first time you posted this. Arona might win all of these fights. But there is no way he will finish all or almost any of these guys.

    Arona = dominate boring decisions.

    How can you be so sure he wont finish any of these guys?

    he defeated alistair overeem via Submission (Strikes)
    destroyed Sakuraba to the point where the corner had to throw in the towel, was voted by many as the most messed up face ever after a fight and subbed other fighters too. He can finish fights and he does have his moments of aggressiveness (e.g charging at silva overpowering him) so your statement is not fully correct. How can you be so sure to? I mean it's not incredibly easy to TKO somebody on the ground, but elbows will be a great asset to Arona. You have to understand he is a ground fighter, and if you find that aspect of mma boring (you cant deny he is a great ground fighter) then I don't know how to convince you he is a great fighter to watch. Yes a lot of fights went to decision, but I don't know what all the fuss is about. He got my respect when he gave Fedor a run for his money....I don't watch MMA just for the KO's even though I love em...I like to see some techinical skills too.
