I thought I would use this new blog feature(sick idea) To try and put fighters I think are underrated some love and Also to give some guys who don't get a lot of attention a spot light.
So I figured I start out with 2 Chute Boxe fighters obviously.
Luiz Azeredo
Luiz was a top LW fighter in Pride. However he was always overshadowed by Gomi, Hansen, Sakurai, and others. His record is an unimpressive 11-6.
But he was competitive in all his losses and outside of a loss early in his career to some scrub his other losses were to Hansen by a crazy knee during a close fight. Sakurai by decision. Tony Desouza by decision. Gomi twice in two close fights especially the 2nd one.
He has wins over Paul Daley(a future topic of this blog),Buscape, and Anderson Silva.
Luiz Azeredo hasn't been fighting recently but rumors seem to be linking him to fighting on NYE, and also he is supposed to fight Buscape in February. Whenever he returns trust me he is a dangerous fighter who can compete with anyone in the LW division.

Helio Dipp
Helio was supposed to be the next great Chute Boxe star. He has crazy Muay Thai and fighting at 205 he was thought to be the next Wanderlei, or Shogun.
After going 4-0 including a KO against IFL veteran Brent Beauperlant, Helio hit a wall and lost 3 of his next 4 fights all against experienced talented fighters.
He won his last fight on September 22 and hopefully he is making a turnaround. He has the Muay Thai skills plus he is 6'5 fighting at 205 which gives him a big advantage....
