Droid Users

Who else has a droid?

I personally have Droid 1. Got it when it first came out. I absolutely love the phone. As soon as I can, I will be upgrading to the newest droid that is out (as of now, the incredible or X).

Any apps you absolutely love?

Mine: Lookout, Advanced Task Killer, Launcher Pro, The Weather Channel, Zedge

I'm always on the hunt for more amazing apps!

Droid 2. I got it for the hardware keyboard. But the touch is good enough that I wish I had gotten an X, for the HDMI out, larger screen, and thinner profile.

Age of Conquest will keep you from being productive. "The Wars" is also kind of fun. Buggy, but fun.

I don't think I need any more counter-productive apps. I have found MMAF.. that distracts me from my job enough :thumb02:

The Droid X is awesome. I was torn between the Droid 2 and the X because I really wanted a keyboard, but with Swype I type waaaay faster than I would with a physical keyboard. I use all the built in apps all the time like gmail, gvoice, navigation, Maps, YouTube, Handcent SMS, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

For the ones I downloaded I have FourSquare (just for fun), Angry Birds (fun little game), Meebo IM (all IM clients in one app), Retro Cam (neat little camera app), AK Notepad (for taking notes), Last.FM (for steaming music), Color Flash (makes your phone into a flashlight or strobe light or other lights), Parkdroid (helps you remember where you parked), Astro File Manager (gives you access to files on your phone and SD card), Chrome to Phone (sends info from your browser to your phone), and a billion other apps I install on a whim but hardly ever use.

I got the Droid when it first came out and then just upgraded to the X in September, its great, just a heads up though using a task killer doesn't help your phone it will make it more buggy in the long run. The way the OS works it wasn't designed to kill tasks the way those apps are made, if you want to end something go into your settings and stop the app that way.

I got a Droid. Don't have any apps on it though.
